Redbreast 12 Year Old is a beautifully balanced single‑pot‑still Irish whiskey, distilled from a mash of malted and unmalted barley, triple‑distilled in copper pot stills and matured for twelve years in a mix of ex‑bourbon American oak barrels and Oloroso sherry‑seasoned Spanish oak butts. On the nose you’ll find rich layers of dried fruit, toffee and toasted wood, which lead into a palate that is velvety and full‑bodied, offering sherried raisins, honeyed vanilla, gentle spice and elegant orchard‑fruit sweetness.
