Espolòn Tequila Reposado Flor de Oro is a limited-edition expression that beautifully honors Mexico’s rich Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) traditions. Crafted at Casa San Nicolás in Jalisco, it begins with 100% hand-harvested Blue Weber agave, slow-cooked in autoclaves and distilled using a blend of pot and column stills to achieve an exceptionally smooth and balanced profile. Aged for a minimum of two months in new American oak barrels, this unique tequila is then finished with a natural marigold (cempasúchil) extract—imparting a delicate floral complexity that sets it apart from traditional reposados. On the nose, it opens with aromas of roasted agave, vanilla, and subtle marigold florals, mingled with hints of orange peel and caramel. The palate offers a refined fusion of sweet agave, honey, and light toasted oak, leading into a long, smooth finish with touches of spice and dried fruit.
